Some new additions to the blogroll
The Midnight Bell, The Bibliothecary and The Conceit. Spot the theme? 'The' - nope. Books - yes. One to watch - One Guy's Moleskine Notebook. And by the way, I thought those Moleskine things were indestructible. Mine's looking pretty disreputable these days. But there again I have tiny, tiny handwriting so it takes me a long time to get through them. You have no idea how boring it was, in the pre-chip and pin era, to have the same conversation in every shop. 'Wow, your writing is small', 'yes, impossible to forge'. But there again, I used this line on a junior lawyer I had to take out for lunch once and he promptly did an impeccable copy of my signature. He's no longer with the firm. Probably found a more lucrative outlet for his talents!
Thanks for the link. I have to tell you how much I've enjoyed your blog since discovering it a few weeks ago. I read it every day.
Prosit,
Ed

I thought the moleskine was formidable too until I dropped one of mine into the pond while I was traveling. I had to borrow a blowdryer to dry page by page!
Thanks so much for the link. I'm truly flattered to be mentioned here. Reading Book World becomes a dily ritual for me.
