We're going on a book hunt

So, now the fun part: putting the books on the new shelves.  Unfortunately, this is not quite as simple as it sounds. When the existing shelves filled up (including double stacking), piles of books mysteriously started to appear in unconventional book storage areas.  And like seemed to attract like.  The corner of my wardrobe hosts a perilous pile of Eighteenth century fiction (only slightly older than some of the shirts in there); the contemporary fiction likes to hang out in the TV room (there's a worrying moral to be drawn there) and the entire Harry Potter series lives in a drawer under the spare bed.  Nobody knows why or how it got there.

My task then, is to persuade my assorted books to settle down in their new home in an orderly, possibly even alphabetical, fashion.  But first I have to round them up.  I may be gone some time.

Have fun! And do be sure to report all the books you found that you even forgot you had! :)

This is quite fantastic. You've got the shelves I have been dreaming of for years! Congrats on your new storage! I would love to put up a picture on the Your Home Library site! Please consider?
